COURSE OVERVIEW

This course acts as the next stage after our introductory course on unconscious bias and provides clients the opportunity to get to grips with integrating inclusion into the critical functions of their organisation.

We consulted with clients and have commissioned specialist diversity and inclusion consultancy, Vercida, to assist us. Dan Robertson, principal at Vercida, helped us to draw up a pathway which shows that once we are aware of bias, managers then need to know how to implement a range of inclusive practices within day to day management.

Our Becoming an Inclusive Organisation course helps managers through use of video tutorials featuring Dan Robertson on:

  • What is management?
  • Team collaboration
  • Drivers for motivation
  • Inclusive recruitment
  • Recruitment bias
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Work allocation
  • Generating trust
  • Respect and managing conflict
  • Managing inappropriate behaviours

The resource can be use via smartphone and any topic accessed quickly for just in time performance support.

The training can also be customised for any organisation and can run on your in-house LMS, or we can provide our own LMS and run the course for you.
